Mark Williams

Mark Williams brings years of involvement in Texas state and local politics. The son of Tommy, Mark has worked in multiple campaigns of House and Senate Members throughout his life. Mark graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Government. During college, Mark interned with several associations and advocacy groups at the state level.

Mark went to work in the private sector after college before returning to a political career at the state capitol, working as the committee clerk and policy analyst on the Senate Education Committee and district director for Senator Larry Taylor (R-Friendswood). Mark also worked as his campaign manager, directing the operations of his Senate District 11 campaign.

Prior to working at the Capitol, Mark worked as the business development director at the largest independent marketing, advertising, and communications firm in Houston; recognized with local, state, regional and national awards on an annual basis in its 40-year history.

Mark started his professional career in the energy service industry, a MWD field engineer for Weatherford and then as a sales director at Worldwide Power Products, where Mark formed relationships with local businesses, hospitals, and municipalities.


Amanda Martin

Amanda Montagne Martin is an experienced government relations professional with a demonstrated history of working in advocacy and directing legislation.

For four and a half years, she led the Government & Stakeholder Relations team at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, serving as the principal liaison to state elected officials on behalf of the largest state agency in Texas.

Prior to her time at HHSC, Amanda was the Vice President of Litigation Center & Advocacy for the Texas Association of Business. She lobbied the Texas Legislature on business issues such as health care, insurance, and tort reform and served as in-house counsel.

Amanda got her start around the Capitol working for Tommy as an intern during her freshman year of college. During her 10 years working in the Senate, she ultimately became legislative director and general counsel, working on a variety of issues including health care, higher education, and natural resources.

She graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A in Government. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law and was admitted to the practice in Texas.
